ArtsCape in Wynyard A community run arts centre located in the heart of Wynyard, Tasmania.

We are a community arts run initiative in which we endeavor to provide a quality arts program in our regional town. Secondly we provide space in which we encourage members of the community to create their own artistic programs.

Opening tonight! Artscape is proud to host Kathleen again and her collection of pastel works in ‘The Best of my Tasmania’.

Join us tonight at at 6pm for a nibble and a wine.
Open from 10am-3pm, closing June 20th.

Tomorrow is the final day of our 20th anniversary show Home is Where the Art is, and we have totes!!
And they are only $6!! All sales of these awesome anniversary totes support our little gallery and our wonderful volunteers.
After the exhibition they will be available on our site for local pickup.
Open tomorrow from 10-2pm, artwork collection for all artists and artwork sales is 2-4pm, no earlier please.

Thankyou to all the wonderful folks that came out last night to celebrate ArtsCape and its amazing 2 decades of supporting creatives in Wynyard.
A big shout out to all our hardworking volunteers, our members, and that help keep our doors open.
Home is Where the Art is is on until the 31st, so pop down and check out this great collection of artwork all inspired by home.
Make sure you pick up one of our tote bags while you’re there!

Just over a week to go until we celebrate 20 years of ArtsCape in Wynyard 🥳🎨

Here is a little sneak of what's in store for our exhibition opening next Friday night. Take a trip down memory lane and see the history of all of the exhibitions and shows that have graced our walls over the last 2 decades, you may spor yourself in the photos! We also have wall projections on our famous mural.

But of course it's also the launch of our wonderful members exhibition 'Home is Where The Art is'. There is still time to enter! check out artscape.com for more details

20 years ago, a local hairdresser had an idea to create a space where artists could work together, exhibit, and share their love of art.

This month, we celebrate Michelle's vision, and ArtsCapes place in Wynyard over the past 2 decades.

ArtsCape has undergone many changes through the years; location, committee, members, logos and paint colours, but at the heart of it, its purpose still remains the same. Supporting artists in the North West, and giving them the space to shine.

With the absolute roaring success of last year's 'FRIDA' members exhibition, we are doing it again!

'VINCENT' will open on March 13th at ArtsCape Wynard, and we encourage everyone to get involved and create their own Van Gogh inspired artworks for this iconic exhibition.
And the best costume at the opening wins a prize!

This is a 'Members Only' exhibition, so get your members applications in by the end of February to join us for this very special show.
Member application forms can be completed on our website at artscapewynyard.com.
All funds support our volunteer run gallery and Tasmania's North West arts community.
