Brisbane Business Bayside Brisbane Business Bayside is a business group made up of a wide range of different businesses in the Brisbane Bayside area.

Previously called Wynnum Business, it changed its name in July 2023 and now covers a much larger geographic area.

Our next Coffee Catchup is next Tuesday…

When: Tuesday 1st September 7:30am - 9:00am
Where: Mickle Pickle Cafe TINGALPA

If you had already booked in for the last breakfast catchup you are automatically booked in for this one.

A quick reminder of the new approach…

*You do need to book in below
*There is a small fee – $10 – which includes a coffee/tea/other drink of your choice
*When you book in let us know what you want to drink (to minimise time ordering/paying)
*Complete a short intro to your business/organisation when you book in online – so we can do a round robin intro to everyone
*The coffee catchup will only run when there are a minimum of 7 people booked in (there is also a limit of 15 due to venue)
*If we have to cancel we will 1) let you know the day before and 2) refund your $10 (or you can transfer it to the next meeting – your call)

The monthly Coffee Catchup scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday 4th August) has been cancelled, due to our own self-imposed rules. Since we did not have 7+ registered for the event - our new rule - we have postponed it until next month, Tuesday 1st September.

We are holding our June Coffee Catchup next Tuesday 9th June (8am-9am) at Winegum Cafe in Gumdale - and you're invited to coma along that morning if you are free.

There are challenges coming from all sides for small/medium businesses and we'd like to get a feel for what those challenges are for you.

This is with a view to inviting speakers to future meetings who can give some advice in these areas.

Did you know that this month is
Queensland Small Business Month?

We did have our May After Work meeting scheduled for Tuesday 19th May, however…

Joan Pease MP, State Member for Lytton (and one of our members and supporters), is holding a Bayside Small Business Networking Drinks at The Waterloo Bay Hotel on Wednesday 27th May (also at the event will be the Shadow State Treasurer the Honourable Shannon Fentiman MP).

…and so we have decided to roll our May After Work meeting into this event.
