REMINDER: Tomorrow, the 4th, is the last session of Art Class on Thursdays at 9:30am-11:30am.

From next week, Art Class will be moving to Wednesdays from 10am–12pm.

📣 Please be aware of some changes to our activities schedule:

🎨 Art Class with Robyn, who is back with us, will now be running on Wednesdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm, starting next week on the 10th.

🌭 Sausage Sizzles & Games will now take place on Thursdays from 12:00pm – 2:00pm, starting next week on the 11th.

We look forward to seeing everyone there 😊

A big thank you to the Waterloo Bay Leisure Centre team, especially Rhonda Ireland, for the ongoing weekly support with the fresh meals prepared for our Hub.

These meals make a real difference to many of our vulnerable community members, and we truly appreciate the kindness, care, and generosity behind every delivery.

What a wonderful turnout we had at our special Community BBQ celebrating Neighbourhood Centre Week at the YMCA Wynnum Community Centre! 🌭🎉

It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces come together to enjoy great food, laughter, games, music, and community spirit. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of how important connection and community are.

The YMCA Wynnum Community Hub is here to support our community

Open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm, the Hub offers support for those doing it tough, including clothing, household goods, hygiene products, and emergency relief assistance. Members of our community are also welcome to enjoy coffee and biscuits each day in a safe and caring space. ☕🍪

The YMCA Wynnum Community Hub also provides FREE counselling, FREE activities, JP services, and support services such as NDIS assistance, housing support, and financial counselling along with opportunities to connect with others in a positive and supportive environment.

No one should feel alone whether you need support, friendship, or simply someone to talk to, we are here for you. Please reach out or drop by. Together, we can build a stronger and more connected community.
