It means they can wake each day knowing there will be food to eat, and that medical care is there when they need it.
Our grannies and pops have lived through so much. They’ve raised families, endured loss, and carried burdens most of us will never fully understand. In this chapter of their lives, sponsorship brings stability, comfort, and in most cases, the only support they have!
In choosing to be part of this, something also changes within us.
Life begins to feel a little less centred on our own worries, and much more grounded in connection, meaning, and compassion. It shifts the way we see the world, opening our eyes to what truly matters and reminding us how powerful even the smallest act of kindness can be.
