🌾 Thank you for making the Rice Run possible!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our recent Rice Run. ❤️

Because of your generosity, our grannies now have a good supply of rice to see them through another few months.

Your kindness reaches all the way to their homes in the villages around Siem Reap 🌾 Thank you all so much for helping us care for them.

Granny Tem urgently needs a new sponsor ❤️

Granny Tem is one of the beautiful elderly women we care for through our Elderly Care Program.

Sadly, her previous sponsorship has come to an end, and we urgently need to find someone who would like to step in and continue supporting her.

Granny Tem relies on this support for her monthly pension and the medication she needs to stay healthy.

If you’re unable to provide full sponsorship, you can still be a part of her care. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help provide the support she needs.

RICE RUN FOR THE ELDERLY 🍚

As the wet season continues in Cambodia, many of our grannies are running low on rice - this time of year can be especially difficult for them!

If you’d like to help, any contribution will go directly towards purchasing rice for our grannies. Anything over our target of 200kg will go towards purchasing medications.

Looking back on memories - I can’t help but be so grateful for the connections and life long friendships I have made along the way. Rural Cambodia is so steeped in tradition and culture - you really don’t know this beautiful country until you let go of western ways of thinking and being.

I’ve always felt so incredibly privileged to be accepted into villages where not many tourists, if any, venture into. In my own small way, I feel woven into this culture, not only through bonding with families and the work I’ve been doing, but with discovering Buddhism and the peace it can bring into your life.

I’ve got a lot to be grateful for 🙏
