✨THE WEEK AHEAD ✨
We are now well and truly into Winter 🥶🥶but both pools are lovely and heated!
Our coaches will not be on deck but instead be providing a written program 📑for each session. Sometimes the coach will join us in the pool.

The programs will continue to focus on the skills we need for the State Championships (July 16th - 19th in Townsville).

🏊 Tuesday – 5:30pm start at Woree Pool. One lane until 6:15 and then three lanes catering for different swim abilities. Written program provided.
➡️➡️➡️🕠 PLEASE NOTE: New start time as Woree pool is now on its Winter timetable and closes at 7pm.

🧜🏽‍♂️ Sunday - 9:00am Gordonvale Pool. Written program provided and the coach may be swimming with us. Four lanes available for different abilities.☕🫖🍰 Followed by coffee, tea and a light snack.

Did you have FOMO that you weren't at our swim meet? Then maybe we will see you at State Championships in July instead?

Over June our coaches will focus on the skills we need for the meet. Please note that over Winter months the coach may also be swimming the session and not on deck.

Also Sunday - Goodluck to our Muddies, friends and family who are competing in the Cairns Ironman.

Wow!! What a fantastic afternoon of friendship, fun and fitness at the Mudcrabs SC Swim Meet 2026 at Gordonvale Aquatic Centre.

Firstly a lot of thankyous to everyone who helped the meet run so smoothly

All the volunteers who helped in everyway before the meet, from printing out, to collecting raffle prizes, to setting up the chairs, selling tickets and everything else in between.

Swimmers you will have received an email with the entry list with some more details about the day. Please let us know if you have any guests coming so we can cater for them.
Muddies members have also been sent an email. Please let us know if you are volunteering- so we can get the catering right.

Please note that we will not be providing copies of the program.

This is the final week of training as we focus on our swim meet this Saturday. Our coaches will focus on starts, turns and general skills needed for the meet.

🏊 Tuesday – 5:30pm start with Coach Michelle at Woree Pool. One lane until 6:15 and then three lanes catering for different swim abilities

➡️➡️➡️🕠 PLEASE NOTE: New start time as Woree pool is now on its Winter timetable and closes at 7pm.

🩱🎖️🏊 Saturday is the day!! Gordonvale pool. Warm up from 12noon. Competition starts at 1pm. Afternoon tea around 2pm followed by relays. Presentation will be around 5:30pm, with pizzas provided. Swimmers and volunteers please check your emails. Additional volunteers and spectators are always welcome.

🧜🏽‍♂️ Sunday - 9:00am Gordonvale Pool. Just a low key social session as we recover from the swim meet! Four lanes available for different abilities.☕🫖🍰 Followed by morning tea, coffee and tea.

And just incase you have FOMO, entries to the State Championships have just opened. July 16th to 19th in Townsville. 3 days of pool swimming and an open water swim on the Sunday. Perfect timing for the Cairns long weekend!
