The accreditation process required us to undergo a full review of our policies, procedures, systems, records, and performance against the five industry standards, and to implement actions to address identified gaps and areas for improvement.

Achieving this accreditation is part of our commitment to delivering quality, safe and compliant programs that are based on best-practice and cultural safety.

Today is National Sorry Day.

This is a time to reflect and acknowledge the trauma, courage and strength of the Stolen Generations. This year, the theme is 'From Sorry to Action'. This acknowledges that apologies are necessary for healing, but we must act now to deliver on commitments to meet the outstanding needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, who carry the scars of the past.

Murrup honours the enduring resilience of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, especially in our four partner communities, who continue to carry culture, healing, and hope forward. And we are proud to be partnering to achieve true reconciliation.

Murrup is proud to be installing an Orange Sky laundry pod at the Bill Thaiday Centre, which will provide access to FREE washing and drying. The service will run from Monday to Friday and will be open to everyone in the community.

Regular washing in hot water can control skin conditions that can lead to serious health issues, so will help keep our community strong and healthy.

Good morning Woorie!

We have our Brekky Club up and running at our office, children of all ages are welcome! Parents can also come along and enjoy a cuppa and a yarn!

Small activities are set up!
Cereal, fruit and snacks!

It warms my heart seeing a lot of parents, grandparents, families and community members taking pride in their children’s school attendance! Each end of school term we have our Attendance awards, it’s not only rewarding our children but giving acknowledgement to all the parents/carers that help get their little ones to school everyday! Well done!

Your child will achieve more when they go to school all day, every school day:

•They learn better
•They make friends
•They have a brighter future
