🏅 Play On! Vouchers are opening again soon 🏅

Queensland families will soon be able to apply for a $200 Play On! Sports Voucher for eligible children aged 5–17 years to help cover the cost of joining local clubs, like Girl Guides!

✅ Use your voucher to offset the cost of a Guides Queensland membership or renewal!
✅ Up to $200 per child
✅ One voucher per child per financial year

The Play On! Sports Vouchers program helps make activities more affordable, giving more young people the opportunity to get active, join local clubs, and be part of their community.

Keep an eye out for the opening of the next round and visit the Queensland Queensland Department of Sport website to stay up to date.

Congratulations to all the girls and leaders on their awards today. They have all worked so hard to get the awards they have achieved and today at the Gold Coast award ceremony e celebrate each and every one of them. Well done girls

We will be collecting donations for mini wash kits over the coming week. Any small donations help, you can drop donations off when you sign into guides in a strategically placed donation box!

The girls have been working hard to create no-sew blankets for donation to 12 baskets. The blankets are highly appreciated for cold nights when additional layers are needed.
We will also be putting together small toiletry bags in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for the post of items that can be donated.

Our junior and younger Senior girls from Ormeau and Comera had a wonderful experience at the Kung Fu Panda Camp, 30th-31st may 26.
While working toward our Faith Awareness Badge, they enjoyed a tour of the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple, where they learned about various faiths.

The Ormeau Girl Guides demonstrated remarkable spirit by hiking through the rain to participate in the morning ANZAC Day Service at the Ormeau Pimpama War Memorial Association Inc. The weather may have been challenging, but the service was both meaningful and memorable, with heartfelt gratitude expressed to everyone who contributed.

Five girls proudly showcased their versatility by carrying the World Flag during the walk to the service. They also managed the main flag during the ANZAC Services, laying wreaths that enhanced the significance of the occasion.
