A request was made by Jennifer Lane's daughter to circulate the following: Jennifer Lane has written a story about Susannah Miles (nee Smith), Edward Miles' wife who was transported for 7 years to Australia in 1803. I am writing to you as I thought your members may be interested in coming to the book launch and exhibition. Jennifer passed away in 2020 before her story was completed. Before Jennifer died, she asked me to illustrate and publish her story. With help from my sister Elizabeth we fulfilled her wish to publish “In search of Susannah”. We are celebrating this wonderful event at Victoria Lodge, Royal Botanical Gardens Sydney. The exhibition is open from the 12th of September till the 20th of September. 10am till 4pm daily.
