This week, little ones get busy creating heartfelt Father's Day gifts, cards and keepsakes. Handprint art, gift-making, portrait drawing, special story time and activities that celebrate the dads and father figures who mean the world to our families.

A handmade gift from a tiny person is one of life's greatest treasures.

Pack your binoculars and your best animal sounds. This week at Rose Bay Cottage we're heading on safari! 🦒🐘

Animal crafts, jungle sensory trays, safari movement games, wild creature stories and nature-inspired exploration fill this week's sessions. A theme that sparks imagination, language and a love of the natural world.

📌 Kevira Behavioural Therapist is visiting Woollahra Playgroup at Holdsworth at 10:30am. Practical, evidence-based strategies to help you understand your child’s behaviour and build confidence as a parent.

📌Smart Speech Therapy is visiting Woollahra Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage at 10:30am. Expert guidance on supporting your little one’s communication and language development, with practical tips you can use every day at home.

These sessions are one of the things that make Woollahra Playgroup different. We bring expert knowledge into our warm, welcoming space — so you don't have to go searching for it.

Every child is a superhero, and this week we're celebrating that. Cape-making, superhero craft, power pose movement games, hero story time and lots of imaginative play fill our sessions this week. 💪

Snip, thread, squeeze and twist. It's Fine Motor Skills week at Rose Bay Cottage!

This week at Woollahra Playgroup at Rose Bay Cottage, we're strengthening those tiny, incredibly important hand muscles with a week full of fine motor activities. Threading, cutting, tearing, lacing, tweezers, playdough squeezing, pinching, drawing and more.

Fine motor skills — the small, precise movements of hands and fingers — are the foundation for writing, drawing, self-care (doing up buttons, using a spoon) and so much more. And the best way to build them is through exactly this kind of joyful, hands-on play.

Reading together is an important activity that supports your child's development. Children who are read to regularly build stronger language skills, larger vocabularies, better comprehension and a genuine love of books that lasts a lifetime.

This Wednesday at Woollahra Playgroup at Holdsworth, we welcomed Quirky Kids.

Our special guest session with Quirky Kids (Child Psychologist) is one of the most valued sessions we offer. Parents had the chance to ask questions, learn about developmental milestones and gain expert, practical insight into their child's behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Our guest speaker sessions are one of the ways we bring expert knowledge directly into our warm, welcoming playgroup space.
