It was truly an honour for our Woodridge WTB71 Ambulance Patient Transport team to support a patient throughout their 5-week radiation treatment journey. Being trusted to provide safe, reliable transportation during such a stressful and emotional time means so much to us.

We are grateful to play even a small part in their care and strength, and we remain committed to serving our community with compassion, professionalism, and heart.

We wish you all the best on your future.

The WA Police Force has been made aware some older Apple devices are currently experiencing an issue where they may not be able to make or receive phone calls, including emergency calls to 000 (Triple Zero).

Devices that may be impacted include:
• iPhone 8 updated to iOS16.7.13
• iPhone 8 Plus updated to iOS16.7.13
• iPhone X updated to iOS16.7.13

Users of Apple devices are advised to delay updating the software on their device until the issue is resolved.

More information is available here: https://www.telstra.com.au/exchange/iphone-calling-issue--what-you-need-to-know

A reminder Triple Zero should only be called in an emergency - affected users are urged not to try calling Triple Zero, unless there is a life-threatening emergency.

St John Ambulance working in conjunction with the Shire of Gingin have installed an AED defibrillator and cabinet on the side of the toilet block at Guilderton foreshore it is within a few yards of the BEN sign and life preserver. The position of this defibrillator will make it easier to be seen from the beach and car park and will hopefully save vital seconds if it is required.
There are also other defibrillators in the town at the men’s shed, country club and cafe.

If you hold an accredited first aid certificate the St John First Responser App is available to help you and could help you save a life!

On Sunday 14th December Woodridge St John’s Ambulance volunteers and Cadets will be present in the car park and will be giving CPR demonstrations and if you want to buy a late Christmas present we will be selling first first aid kits for the home /car/ 4WD and snake bandages at a discounted price, we are told that a very special person will make a guest appearance, hope to see you there ! 🎅🚑
