Today on National Sorry Day, we remember and acknowledge the pain, grief, and strength of the Stolen Generations and their families.

It is a day to reflect on the truth of our history, to honour the resilience of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to stand together in healing and reconciliation.

We pay our respects to all Elders past and present, and to those who continue to carry the stories, culture, and strength of our communities.

Sorry means listening. Sorry means learning. Sorry means making sure the mistakes of the past are never repeated.

We are so excited to announce our next Women's Business session!!! ❤️🙏🏾
Next Friday, 22nd May 2026, we are collaborating with our dear friends over at Strong Women Talking to host their First Nations Women 'Economic Empowerment Workshop'!!!

⏰Please note the time of this workshop will be 10am-12pm.
🌏Held at (Amputee's QLD Hall) 47-55 Ellen St, Logan Central.

This workshop has been developed to support our First Nation's Women in building confidence, capability, and long-term financial and personal wellbeing. The workshop will focus on the following key topics:
👉🏿Financial abuse and recognising its signs
👉🏿Building healthy relationships with money
👉🏿Budgeting and goal setting
👉🏿Career development
👉🏿Higher education pathways
👉🏿Mentoring opportunities and support networks
👉🏿Health and wellbeing
These sessions are designed to be practical, culturally informed, and strengths-based, providing participants with tools and knowledge to support both personal and economic empowerment.

Refreshments and lunch provided.
