Thank you to Shire of Gingin for continuous improvements in our community to make the area we live safe to enjoy for people of all ages.

Shire of Gingin recently shared an update;
"🚧 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 – 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

We are pleased to advise, the new fencing has been installed and this project is now complete. The temporary fencing has been removed this morning. 😊"

🚧 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 – 𝗪𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Please be advised, the Shire has received notification that works to replace the Woodridge pond fencing will commence tomorrow, Wednesday 22 July and are anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete.

The current fencing around the pond is at end of life and will be replaced with a very similar powder coated pool style fence.
For the duration of these works, temporary site fencing will be installed to ensure public safety.

🙏 Further updates will be provided as the project progresses. We thank the community for your understanding as we prepare to deliver these works.

Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM yesterday. It was great to see a strong community turnout to support and show an interest for the Woodridge Community Association 🙌

A special thank you to our outgoing President, John Anderson, for his four years as President leading the WCA. We are incredibly grateful for the time, dedication and commitment you have given to our community. Thank you also to outgoing Vice President, Elspeth Finlay, for your ongoing support and contribution over the past year

While stepping down from their executive roles, we are pleased that both John and Elspeth will remain involved as General Committee Members.

✨️ ALL GONE ✨️

Hi neighbours, all these items have been moved to the left bench, the citrus has been placed on the right. Clearing way for access to defib.

Please do not dump unwanted household items here - only acceptable items to leave to share with the community are fresh produce, egg cartons etc.

We are now seeking a good Samaritan to take these items and deliver to op shop or seabird tip.

Construction has commenced on new fencing around the pond at the Woodridge Community Grounds.

This replacement fence will provide a safer and more stable solution for the pond with many thanks to Shire of Gingin for planning in these works on their infrastructure.

Please take care around the construction area and say g'day to the lovely Jake who will be working here all week ☺️

🎉 Exciting News for Woodridge! 🛝🌱

The Woodridge Community Association is thrilled to announce we have been awarded $150,000 through the Community Bank Gingin & Lancelin 2026 Community Grants Program towards our Community Grounds Upgrade on King Drive.

This funding will kick-start Stage 1 of our new nature-based playground and community space, creating an interactive destination for local families, community groups, and the many travellers who stop in Woodridge each year.

A huge thank you to Community Bank Gingin and Lancelin for supporting a project that will strengthen community connection, wellbeing, and pride for generations to come.

The Woodridge Community Association is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to our local community.
It is therefore disheartening to see that one of our community signs was damaged today between 3.15pm and 4.15pm.

We respectfully ask the person responsible - or anyone who saw anything - to please contact us via private message or 0417 186 175 so we can discuss

Repairs require both funding and volunteer time.
