Warriors Bass Smith, Warriors Elliot and Warriors Christie all attended the Sunshine Coast Club carnival today. All of our Warriors played their butts off and represented our club fantasticly.

That's a wrap on a bit of tough round for some of our Warriors, but I can guarantee to you all, that the players gave it 100% all the way to the final siren.
I saw great effort across all of our teams today. Plenty of positives to take out of the day.

I would like to give a big welcome and a big thank you to Jason and his team at Guzman Y Gomez Caboolture for joining our network of partners by providing our players of the match certificates for the remainder of the season.
I collected them this afternoon from the friendly Sabrina and Lilly. This store is brand spanking new and shining like a new penny! Scratch that Mexican itch and get down there for a feed. Remember to support the businesses who support us.

Bit of a change of scenery for training on Thursday 18th June.

We will be running a whole club training program with our club President Jai looking after our net, sets and go teams.
Coach Francine and her Warriors Elliot player are going to kick it up a notch and put all of our divisional player through their paces.

Here. We. Go. Lets shine a light on our players of thr match from the weekend!

In our player spotlight we have Ariana from Warriors Bass Smith. Ariana had a great game Saturday! She has put into practice many of the skill the team has been working on in training, including coming forward for the ball, using her footwork to find space, and sticking like absolute glue to her opponent.

Wow! Fantastic effort! Keep it up Warriors 👏👏👏

Before I share our Player Of The Match for this week. I have to share this meesage that came through from one of our Coaches Simone from Warriors Infinity.

I am super proud of our team with their 32 -14 win this week. We have been focusing and learning spatial awareness and using chanhels to balance the court. You can really start to see the girls are understanding and implementing this concept during the game. We are all looking forward to working more on this during training. Amelia was our POM this week for really listening and intergrating the concept into her game. Shilo was great in her defence, intercepting with two hands while implementing her channels. Jasmine also is learning her place on the circle for defence line throw ins and holding her postion.

Simone has really embraced her coaching role and this group of players. It's this part of the season when connections and concepts start to show through. It's fantastic for the coach, the playing group and our whole Warriors community.

I reckon there are a few more great stories like this floating around the club and I'd love to be able to share more of them more regularly.

For anyone who isn't familiar with the Jackson Hepner Foundation, they are a local charity who support families with chronic and terminal illness. Through Jackson's own story the Hepner's found a way to turn heartbreak into a shining light of support for other families.
Hepner Homes Pty Ltd are a great supporter of our club and we would love to see our Warriors community show this great event some support.

Sunday arvo fun down at Caboolture Netball Association with Sunshine Coast Lightning and Queensland Firebirds. I want to extend a massive thank you from our Warriors club to the players who gave their time so generously and were so great with all the kids. Also thanks to CNA for hosting. I know my car ride home was filled with such excitement as the girls recounted meeting their idols.

Our Warriors did not disapoint! They represented our club magnificently. I think some of the drill today will be great additions to training nights. Loads of fun while learning their skills👏👏👏
