Cool, damp weather made for lots of puddle jumping for the 64 people who walked, jogged or ran our course this morning for event #284🌦️🌧️

This week 7 people were first timers and 9 participants recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 6 different clubs took part.

Hooray! It is parkrun eve 😎

Who is joining us tomorrow? Come and join us - it's free and it’s fun…..and it makes you feel good.....then you can visit the Woodend Community Farmers' Market for some treats ☕️🍩🥧🥟🥐🍞

Meet at the bench tomorrow morning at 7:50am for the briefing.
Couple of reminders:
🌳Please RETURN all barcodes, and take one even if you are not registered and pop it into the bucket - it helps us keep the times right.
🌳Please only cross the finish line ONCE - again it helps us with the results!

It was a lovely late winter morning for event number 283. This week 81 people ran, jogged or walked our course. We welcomed 7 first timers and 9 people recorded new personal bests - well done 🎉

Pre event briefing is at 7.55am with the start at 8.00am! All are welcome the walk, jog, run or anything in between! Remember to pack your raincoat, beanies, gloves, barcode and smiles.

Campaspe Parkrun – Event 282

Today was the 22nd (or 2-2) of August, which means if you had a tutu atop your running attire, your style was "en pointe". 🩰

A great "turnout" — 80 participants ran, jogged and walked the course!

🆕 14 stage debuts @ Campaspe with 🏅 16 new PBs (That's Personal Bests, not Prima Ballerinas)

Big thanks to Snap Fitness 24/7 Woodend for leading our warm-up and keeping everyone fuelled with post-run goodies and fruit — much appreciated! 🍎

Also, the show would not go on without our Volunteers/ Backstage Crew: Ian Hoad, Brooke Thompson, Helen Edwards, Mary Orgill, Alison Lowe, Clive Lowe, Alessio La Forgia, Fenella Smith, Alice Van Dam, Luca Fischer, Freya Fischer, Alex Middleton Bruhn, Rowena Glenister, and Oscar Sturmfels.

💚❤️💛It is a tutu Saturday tomorrow so come dressed in your best tutu and join us for parkrun - you can run, walk or do a bit of both!
