Posting for Border Ranges Riding Club.

We’re pleased to share that our club has once again been invited to prepare and serve food on Australia Day at the Woodenbong Hall, in the supper room. This is a paid fundraising opportunity that contributes directly to covering our annual insurance costs and supports the ongoing sustainability of the club.

If you’re available and willing to lend a hand, we’d greatly appreciate your support. Volunteers will be needed from 7:00 AM through to the pack-up following lunch service.

Please let us know if you’re able to assist on the day.

We are continuing to help our senior with obtaining assessments and care packages. If you are in need of help please contact us and we can help.
People who would like to work in supports services please contact us. We are seeking more staff with our growing numbers of clients.

Woodenbong Cares information.
Good evening all.
Woodenbong Cares has a beautiful benefactor in the way of a huge donation of pre loved and some new items for an op shop to raise much needed funding.
She has delivered bags and bags with another 19 arriving tomorrow
There are all sorts of items. Most are very good . A huge range of items.
Chris Reid suggested we have a stall at the markets.
We are busy sorting and hanging up items ready for the market.
If anyone has some spare time to help in the next week it would be very much appreciated.
How kind and wonderful of our friend Del to do this donation. Funds are used to help fill the gap while folk are waiting for their home care funds to come through and the expenses of running the office.
All work done by the coordinator Lynne, is on a volunteer basis, which save Woodenbong Cares $ which will go towards aged care facilities in the future.
We would ask the community to get on board and help with this worthy cause.

Border Rangers Riding Club.
Good evening everyone.
Isobel, Jim and myself inspected the grounds this afternoon. We are going ahead and Isobel will do some great stuff with you all on Sunday 17th August.
We ask that you take note of where Jim ask you to park. A lot of the area outside the ring is quite boggy, but Jim can direct you to available areas to park.

Well.well. just got home from the Woodenbong Rodeo.
I can't begin to tellyou how wonderful it was. Many faces from the "old" days. Many memories from the old days. But the memories made today will be just as good
A spectacular turn out. Thank your everyone for supporting John O'Reilly and Renai Pearce for putting it on. Just a huge enjoyable, incredible experience. I thought I may have been too old to enjoy a Rodeo, but no way
