No Canteen in Week 1 & 2

Hi everyone,
Please be advised that the school canteen will be CLOSED for the first 2 weeks of term 4.

Unfortunately, we don't have quite enough volunteers available at the moment, with some of our regular volunteers having other commitments. We apologise for any inconvenience/disappointment and appreciate your understanding.

We'd love your help! 💛
Our school canteen relies on the wonderful support of parents, grandparents and carer volunteers. If you have some time to spare, we would love to welcome some more volunteers to our canteen team!

You don't need any previous experience — if you have an hour or two to spare occasionally on a Friday morning between 9 and 1, we'd love to have you join us.

Our menu is simple, and every little task makes a difference and helps us keep the canteen running for our kids.

Please complete the free Food Handler Basics course through the NSW Food Authority. It takes around an hour and is a great introduction to food safety.

Back in Week 3 !

The canteen will be back to normal from Week 3 onwards, and we can't wait to see everyone back!

Kind regards,

Woodburn Public School P & C

☀️🧢 School Hats – New Lower Price!

We’re happy to let families know that the P&C has permanently reduced the price of WPS hats to $ 10.95.

As a P&C, we fully support the school’s sun-safety policy and the importance of making sure our kids are protected from the sun while they’re at school and enjoying outdoor activities.

All uniform items, including school hats, can be ordered through the Flexischools app. Orders can be picked up from the school office or sent home with your child.

Thanks for helping us support Woodburn Public School and, most importantly, keeping our kids sun-safe!
