The Balar Malar Tamil School Annual Day 2025 will be held on Saturday, 29th November 2025 at Wollongong Public School from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Registrations are now open, and tickets can be purchased online at https://www.trybooking.com/DFWCD to help cover catering costs. A QR code is also available in the event poster for convenience.

We welcome members of the Indian community and also warmly welcome parents of young children who wish to give their kids the opportunity to learn the Tamil language and culture amidst today’s busy lifestyle. This celebration is not only for our children but also an important step in strengthening our Indian language community in the Illawarra region.

We look forward to celebrating our children together!

*⚠️ A Serious Appeal to All Indian Passport Holders in Australia 🇮🇳✈️*

This is a sincere request to everyone holding an Indian passport or who has used services from the *Indian Consulate in Sydney* or *anywhere in Australia*.

Many people are facing *extreme passport delays — sometimes five to six months or more*. These delays are causing *travel disruptions, stress, and trauma*, with many missing important trips because *police verification and other formalities* are not completed in time.

It’s frustrating that while *a passport renewal in India can be completed in just two days*, the same process here takes months — and costs more! To make matters worse, *police verification in India often involves bribery*, adding to the difficulties for applicants abroad.

The reality is that *consulate offices in Australia are understaffed and inefficient*, unable to handle the growing demand as the Indian community continues to expand. This situation is simply unacceptable.

If you or anyone you know has faced similar problems, please *take a few minutes to write an email* describing your experience, your story and dissatisfaction.
Please write a clear, polite message — your voice matters.

If *hundreds or thousands of email* reach the consulate, someone will finally take notice and act.
