After eight years of remission from Estrogen Receptor Positive (ER+) breast cancer, Ashliegh’s mother, Margaret, received the devastating news that the cancer had metastasised. First to her spine, then hips, organs and lymph nodes.

For people like Margaret with ER+ breast cancer it is common to develop treatment resistance and for the cancer to return. Sadly, after exhausting all treatment options, Margaret passed away in 2023.
