๐ŸŒฟโœจ **Unforgettable Moments at the Ngaramura Cultural Camp!** โœจ๐ŸŒฟ

Our Ngaramura staff and students recently camped on Tharawal Country at the Cataract Activity Centre in Appin. ๐Ÿž๏ธ From high ropes to archery and a waterslide adventure, it was days filled with laughter, learning, and connection.

This all-female camp provided a safe and empowering space for our students to share their stories, life experiences, and dreams for the future. Bonding over free time activities and meal times, we strengthened our sense of community and sisterhood.

A heartfelt thank you to Gawura for making this enriching experience possible. Your support has allowed us to create lifelong memories and foster a deeper appreciation for our culture and each other.

Here's to many more adventures and moments of growth together! ๐ŸŒŸ

Have you seen the amazing new artwork on the mouse wheel at the recently-opened Stuart Park All Ages All Abilities playground? The artwork was co-created with local young people and facilitated by Elders Aunty Lorraine and Aunty Narelle from Coomaditchie.

If you havenโ€™t been there yet, check out Wollongongโ€™s first human-sized mouse wheel, as well as the Paperbark Forest Maze, the wheelchair carousel and sensory garden.

The Stuart Park All Ages All Abilities playground is an inclusive play space. While this playground is for everyone, it was inspired by and built for adults with disability.

This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government, the NSW Government, Wollongong City Council and community and business supporters.
