Big Dan — The Spark Behind Bula Boots

They say when you meet someone whose heart beats to your drum, it’s God reaching out. That day at the front desk of Wyndham Fiji, I didn’t meet a concierge — I met a brother.

Dan Varomuso, aka “Big Dan,” is a kind man with an even bigger heart. He walks with quiet strength, carries more than most, and still chooses love every single day. He’s the kind of bloke you wouldn’t want running at you full noise — but you’d want him on your team every time.

It was Dan’s spirit — humble, generous, powerful — that lit the spark in me. A fire that became Bula Boots.

Because real inspiration doesn’t shout. It just shows up. Like Dan.
