Some photos from day 1 of the annual GWS Region Diversity and Inclusion Conference. Scouting is for all abilities, all cultures and all personality types! Today was about expanding our skills and knowledge in Neurodiversity, Gender Identity and Behavioral Support. We also talked a lot about developing further resources and support networks in Scouting. To celebrate World Scout Day and 110 years of Cub Scouts, Scouts NSW is hosting a free community activation at Parramatta Square on Saturday from 9am-3.30pm, when families can experience more than 15 interactive Scouting activities, including orienteering, construction challenges, a life-sized Hungry Hungry Hippos game, a canoe selfie booth and performances from the Cumberland Gang Show.

What a fantastic start to the 48th GWS Jamborette - Our World Our Future! 🌎⛺️

Scouts have arrived for a weekend camping, adventure and fun. Today saw patrols setting up campsites and gateways, cooking lunch, taking part in the opening parade, and getting stuck into an action-packed program of activities.

From flying fox, rock climbing and canoeing to water rockets, billy carts and much more, it’s already been great to see Scouts showing teamwork, resilience, creativity and plenty of Scout spirit.

A huge thank you to all the Leaders, Rovers, Venturers, Fellowships and volunteers helping make this long weekend possible. 🙏
