What a fantastic start to the 48th GWS Jamborette - Our World Our Future! 🌎⛺️

Scouts have arrived for a weekend camping, adventure and fun. Today saw patrols setting up campsites and gateways, cooking lunch, taking part in the opening parade, and getting stuck into an action-packed program of activities.

From flying fox, rock climbing and canoeing to water rockets, billy carts and much more, it’s already been great to see Scouts showing teamwork, resilience, creativity and plenty of Scout spirit.

A huge thank you to all the Leaders, Rovers, Venturers, Fellowships and volunteers helping make this long weekend possible. 🙏

Happy Founder’s Day!

Today we celebrate the legacy and birthday of the Scouting Movement's founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and the incredible impact the Scouting Movement has had, and continues to have, on millions of lives worldwide.

Founder’s Day is also a time to renew our commitment to the Scout Promise and Law - to be people of character, courage, compassion, and hope.
