Christmas Food Drive – Supporting those impacted by the 2025 Mid-Coast Floods.

This Christmas, our community needs your kindness more than ever.

After the devastating floods that swept through our region, many local families have lost homes, possessions, and access to basic necessities. As the holiday season approaches, we want to ensure no family goes without a warm meal or a reason to smile.

We’re calling on our community to come together and donate non-perishable food items and festive treats to help rebuild hope this Christmas.

Items Needed
• Canned goods (meat, vegetables, soups, fruit)
• Pasta, rice, noodles, and sauces
• Breakfast cereals and long-life milk
• Snack foods for kids’ lunchboxes
• Christmas treats – puddings, mince pies, chocolates, bonbons
• Tea, coffee, sugar, and spreads

A Message to Our Community

We know that Wingham’s generosity always shines through. Our town has already been through so much, yet time and again you have shown strength, compassion, and a genuine willingness to help others. By coming together once more, we can support not only our own neighbours, but other Mid-Coast communities still recovering from the devastation of the floods.

Every tin, packet, and pudding helps put hope back on the table for a family this Christmas.

🎄 Together, we can make this Christmas brighter for everyone.

A beautiful act of kindness from the Northholm Grammar School community 💛

Yesterday we received a special delivery from Nikki Tod, a parent from Northholm Grammar School. We accepted 43 care packages and envelopes with personal gift cards inside, each thoughtfully written with messages for local families doing it tough right now.

The Northholm Grammar School cattle show team and wider school community wanted to give back after experiencing the warmth and support of Wingham High School and our local community during Wingham Beef Week. Gift cards were included to help brighten some days during these difficult times.

We are so grateful for this incredible gesture of community spirit and will ensure these gifts reach those who need them most. Today, gifts were delivered to Wingham High School with more going out soon for younger children.

Thank you to everyone involved at Northholm Grammar School — your kindness means the world. 💌🙏
