We are Hawkesbury residents campaigning to stop the Adani coal mine in QLD. We would love you to join us. Here are some of the reasons we have decided to take action:
1. Scientists have recently warned us that we only have 12 years left to stop burning fossil fuels if we are to prevent catastrophic climate change.
2. If we burn the coal from the proposed Adani mine we have no chance of stopping climate change. (Adani aims to mine a whopping 60 million tonnes of coal per year!)
