Winchelsea Community House has successfully received an FRRR Grant to Launch a New Co-Working Space!
Winchelsea Community House is delighted to announce that it has successfully secured funding through the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) to establish a modern, fully equipped co-working space in the Star Room building.
The new workspace will feature professional amenities including standing desks, portable monitors, and flexible workstations designed to support local business owners, sole traders, remote workers, and entrepreneurs.
This exciting initiative aims to provide more than just a place to work. By creating opportunities for connection and collaboration, the co-working space will help reduce the social isolation often experienced by people running businesses independently, while fostering professional networking and knowledge sharing within the local community.
To ensure the long-term success of the project, Winchelsea Community House is encouraging local business owners and professionals to actively support and use the space. Regular participation will help build a vibrant hub where ideas, skills, and opportunities can be shared, strengthening both local businesses and the wider community.
Further information about the co-working space, opening dates, and membership options will be announced in the coming weeks. Community members interested in becoming involved are encouraged to contact Winchelsea Community House.
