**JUNE IS BOWEL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH**
Bowel cancer is one of the most treatable cancers when detected early, and June serves as an important reminder to PRIORITISE SCREENING and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.
REGULAR SCREENING CAN SAVE LIVES.
Early-stage bowel cancer often has no symptoms, but it's important to speak with your GP if you notice any of the following:
๐น Blood in your stool or re**al bleeding
๐น Changes in bowel habits (diarrhoea, constipation, or narrower stools)
๐น Abdominal pain, cramping, or bloating
๐น Unexplained weight loss
๐น Persistent fatigue or weakness
๐น A feeling that the bowel hasnโt emptied completely
DON'T IGNORE SYMPTOMS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL THEY MAY SEEM.
๐ Early detection matters. Encourage your loved ones to get checked too.
