NEW STALL - NAGAMBIE ARTISAN BREAD & YUMMIES!

We are pleased to welcome another great NEW stall ... Michael from Nagambie Artisan Bread.

Their products are very popular in both Nagambie and a range of other markets - a mouth watering selection of sourdough bread, fruit loaf, pastries, almond croissants, sliced banana bread and more. Plus Gluten Free products. Last week - his products were selling fast!

Come along tomorrow from 8 am to 1 pm and meet Michael and check out his delicious products.

TOMORROW IS GOING TO BE FABULOUS WEATHER!

I've just checked the BOM (Bureau of Meteorology) and it is going to be perfect market weather ... 18 degrees and sunny.

Bargain shopping - fresh fruit and veggies, bread, household items and then also lots of variety and ... something just a little different.

Grab a bite to eat or a coffee whilst you shop.

Goods auction and also poultry auction (all regulations set by Agriculture Victoria are being adhered to) are operating.

🎉 This July, the Whittlesea Monday Market celebrated 14 years! 🎉

Fourteen years ago, a new chapter began at the Whittlesea Showgrounds. Since then, every Monday has brought something special—early morning coffees, fresh local produce, incredible bargains, familiar faces, and a community that keeps coming back week after week.

What started as a market has become a Monday tradition, and that's because of the people who make it what it is. Our dedicated stallholders, hardworking volunteers, loyal shoppers, and everyone who's visited over the years—you've all helped shape the Whittlesea Monday Market into the place it is today.

We're especially proud that so many of our original stallholders are still part of the market 14 years on. Their commitment is a big part of our story.

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or only discovered us recently, thank you for being part of our journey.

Here’s to 14 wonderful years—and many more Mondays to come.

We’re looking for Morning Superstars!

The Whittlesea Monday Market wouldn’t happen without our incredible volunteers. Every Monday, our team helps bring one of the community’s favourite markets to life—and we’d love you to be part of it.

Whether you can help every week, every few weeks, or simply be available as a backup, there’s a place for you on our team.

What could you be doing?

As part of our friendly volunteer crew, you might:
🚩 Set up market signs early in the morning (6:30–7:00 am)
🚗 Welcome and direct stallholders to their sites (7:00–8:00 am)
🅿️ Help shoppers find parking (from around 9:30 am)
😊 Assist visitors around the market
🚦 Support traffic management
🤝 Help keep the market running smoothly
💚 Work alongside a fantastic team that enjoys getting the job done together

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing different skills, experiences and personalities. Together, we help make the market a welcoming place for everyone.

How often do I need to volunteer?

We’re flexible because we know life is busy.

You can choose to help:
• Every Monday
• On a rotating roster (every few weeks)
• As part of our backup team for holidays and sick leave
• On Public Holidays—our busiest market days, when extra hands are always appreciated

We’ll work with you to find a volunteering schedule that suits your lifestyle.

☀️ The weather is turning it on for a fantastic King's Birthday Monday. A perfect day to visit the Whittlesea Market.

Join us from 8am–1pm for aisles of new stalls, great food, and loads of family fun including pony rides, animal farm, character fairy floss, and more. Bring the whole family (and the dog 🐾) and make a day of it!

Sellers are welcome to bring poultry tomorrow at the Whittlesea Poultry Auction held at the Whittlesea Showgrounds, Victoria.

📍 Poultry penning times:

Please ensure all birds are penned within this time ready for the live-call auction starting at 10AM.
