West Australian Gun Club Welcome to WAGC, our primary purpose is to foster and encourage the sport of Clay Target Shooting Sports.

West Australian Gun Club is a non profit organisation which is a member of the Australian Clay Target Association, the national body which is responsible for the administration of the sport in Australia. Clay Target Shooting is a sport that can be enjoyed by the whole family as recreation or at a competition level from registered club events to regional, state, national and international competiti

ons. These include World Championships, Commonwealth and Olympic Games. Clay Target Shooting has different disciplines to try which include: Trap, S***t, ISSF and Sporting Clays. Each discipline varies in its approach and delivery of targets to give a choice and different experience with Clay Target Shooting.

Your licensed firearm must be on a competition license (including multi-purpose licenses), not a hunt/open license

Please join us in congratulating the winner of our Overall High Gun for 2026, Jarrad Baker from the Narrogin Clay Target Club, with a final score of 343/360, two points clear of the next shooter!
Jarrad shot well all weekend, falling short of an event win but always in the mix of AA Grade, racking up the points to take home the Carnival High Gun sash along with $1,000 cash. Thanks for making the trip up to WAGC Jarrad!

We had three shooters score a perfect 30/30 who fought it out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, with Riki Tait from WAGC claiming the final Overall Event Winner for the carnival with a 30/30 + 7/7 from 21 meters, no easy feat!
We then had an additional 8 shooters scoring 29/30 who had to head into a shoot-off to decide the final four placegetters. All of these shooters ranged from 15 meters to 21 meter shooters, leveling out the playing field, truly making it anyones prize to claim. A big congratulations to our final 7 winners from this event

The most sought after event win at any trap carnival, once again we had Stephen Gee from the Peel Clay Target Club taking the overall win with a perfect 50/50, however this time he had to shoot-off with an additional 41/41 targets to secure the overall win, an impressive effort!
With fantastic scores across the board and shoot-offs in every grade to decide the final place-getters, an extra special well-done goes to all of Event 4's winners!!
