🦞2027 CALENDAR🦞

🌊Twelve months of art, made by our community, for the lobsters of the North Sea.

🎨Earlier this year we invited artists of all ages to help create the 2027 calendar, and we were blown away by the talent and imagination in every entry. The front cover is a vibrant collage of lobsters in screenprint and poster paint, created by students aged 14–18 from the FLP Art group at Whitby School. Inside, you'll find Japanese watercolours, acrylic paintings, graphic art and even pyrography, where the image is burned by hand into wood.

🫶Every calendar sold directly supports our work. With the help of local fishing communities, we care for egg-carrying female lobsters, hatch their young safely here in Whitby, and release the juveniles back into the North Sea once past their most vulnerable life stages. We've now released more than 60,000 young lobsters, and your calendar helps us keep going.

🦞STAITHES LOBSTER RELEASE🦞

We're bringing our lobster releases to Staithes for the very first time! Join us for a morning of vital conservation work and get up close with this amazing species.

Fancy releasing a lobster yourself? All are welcome to come get involved! 🌊
