We’re thrilled to welcome Yvette Pastro as our new Family Liaison Officer in Griffith 💛

Yvette brings experience from across the banking, hospitality, education support and aged care sectors, all grounded in a genuine passion for helping others.

A proud Griffith local, she has strong community ties and has been actively involved in school fundraising, local events and raising her three children in the region.

Describing herself as empathetic, caring and conscientious, Yvette has long admired the impact Country Hope has across regional communities and is motivated by the opportunity to provide compassionate, practical support to local families.

Over the coming weeks, Yvette is looking forward to connecting with our families, as well as meeting with local community leaders and decision makers.

Okay, so … in the past Bland Shire Library has created and provided a cognitive activity book for seniors, Easter activity book for children, and NOW … a Christmas activity book to keep the kids entertained over the festive holidays. Cost is a gold coin donation with all proceeds supporting Country Hope. Cheers, the library staff x

Millie-Hope is at the Royal Children’s Hospital getting ready for heart surgery in the morning. She’s having a Fontan procedure, which will divert blood straight to her pulmonary artery & lungs for oxygenation, instead of going through her heart ❤️‍🩹
This will be a big one. Please keep this gorgeous 4 year old & her family in your hearts & thoughts tomorrow.
