AASW (WA) is an active Branch with 1100 members, managed by a voluntary Branch Management Committee (BMC) elected by the membership, and staffed by part-time Branch Manager. The Australian Association of Social Workers has 13,000 members and is the professional representative body of social workers in Australia. It shares information on Facebook about its advocacy, newsletters and the activities of others that may be of interest to professional social workers and the pursuit of professional excellence and social justice.
