💙 🩵 Over the weekend, we gathered at Peninsula Farm Cafe in Maylands to celebrate CWA Perth Belles Sweet 16th Birthday. 🩵 💙

We took the opportunity to celebrate all we have achieved over the year (and the previous 15).

🎂 Like any good sweet 16th birthday, 2025 felt like a coming of age for our branch, after the centenary celebrations of 2024, 2025 was a time focus in branch activities and trying to leave our community just a little bit better than we found it. 🥰

🧵 🪡 The year was full of cooking, crafting and fundraising but most of all connecting with our community and creating little bits of joy! ❤️ 🤩

🤗 The vision of our inaugural President 16 years ago was to create a safe and welcoming space for any woman to come and connect into a new network of friends … it is very evident a decade and a half later Perth Belles has not only achieved, but exceeded the original goal and continues to go from strength to strength!💪

All proceeds from this market stall will go towards charitable donations. In November, Perth Belles approved $3,600 in donations to a number of worthy causes ❤️

Perth Belles caters for the Girl Guides Award Ceremony annually. This year the event is being held at Government House, with members catering for over 200 guests. What a phenomenal effort! Looks so delicious and professional.

Perth Belles have always enjoyed volunteering on the CWA Time for Tea stand at the Perth Royal Show! We have been excited to watch the CWA of WA contribution to the show grow over the years, especially the serving of scones with jam and cream over the passed two years.

This year we were honoured to be asked to provide some of how handicrafts, including hanging tea towels and bowl cozies. We sold a total of 33 bowl cozies and 39 hanging tea towels as well as having members volunteer their time in the time for tea and promotions stand.

CWA Perth Belles embraced the Perth Royal Show tradition of bringing the country to the city with branch members trying their hand at various cooking and crafting endeavours! Last night members enjoyed joining with other competitors to view all the entries and celebrating some highly commended pieces of work!

Our branch members were extra excited to run into CWA Mt Barker President who placed in an impressive nine categories … some inspiration for us next year!

If you are heading the Royal Show this week, don’t forget to stop by Centenary Pavilion and see the CWA for a scone with jam and tea!
