💛 The Parliament of Western Australia....THANK YOU 💛

Thank you for helping to shine a light on childhood cancer and, most importantly, for recognising the children, young people and families at the heart of it all.

What we hope for is that with greater awareness and understanding, comes greater action, which means more conversations around what needs to be better, and more research dollars going into childhood cancers.....research into treatments which are gentler, kinder and promise bright futures.

From all of us at Kids Cancer Support Group and all the families we support, thank you for standing alongside us 💛

Each year between 90 – 100 children and adolescents in Western Australia are diagnosed with childhood cancer.

As International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month draws to a close, Parliament Fountains will glow gold in recognition of these brave children affected by cancer.

Kids Cancer Support Group is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to connecting, supporting and enriching the lives of children diagnosed with cancer and other blood disorders at Perth Children’s Hospital.

Janelle you bring the laughter and we'll bring the purpose! - Kai’s Big GOLD Ball 2026!

Some people don’t just lend their name to a cause. They genuinely become part of it 🎗 💛

We are incredibly grateful to have our wonderful, huge hearted KCSG Ambassador, Janelle Koenig, supporting us once again at this year’s Kai’s Big GOLD Ball.

Janelle has been such a genuine supporter of KCSG and the children and families we walk alongside. She brings warmth, humour and heart wherever she goes, but more than that, she truly understands why nights like this matter.

Kai’s Big GOLD Ball is shaping up to be a truly spectacular night but beneath all the gold, the luxury, the entertainment and the excitement is something that matters so much more.

At the heart of Kai’s Big GOLD Ball are the children and families who give the night its meaning 🎗

It’s a night to honour their stories, to remember the children deeply missed, and to bring a community together around families who deserve to feel seen, supported and surrounded.

It means so much to have people like Janelle standing alongside us, helping our community to feel seen, for the children's voices to be heard.

On October 10, Janelle will be there to help us all raise the funds that allow KCSG to keep showing up for families when they need us. So nobody faces this tough journey alone.

And knowing Janelle, there will undoubtedly be plenty of laughter along the way ❤️
