Congratulations, Kristin Alford – World Rowing Umpire 🌏🚣‍♀️

We’re thrilled to share that Kristin Alford has passed her World Rowing umpiring exams in Qingdao, China, and with flying colours.

The examination panel was impressed by Kristin’s professionalism and preparation. It’s a fantastic reward for the time and effort she has put into her umpiring journey.
Kristin is believed to be South Australia’s first female World Rowing umpire, a proud milestone for our sport in this state.

From her early days on the umpiring pathway to the international level, Kristin is a great example of where officiating can take you. Well done from all of us at Rowing SA. We look forward to celebrating with you when you’re home!

🚣‍♀️ Interested in becoming an umpire? Get in touch with Rowing SA to find out how.
