On this weekend in 1889 The Salvation Army started work in Kempsey. Today, 137 years later, we opened our doors again for church. Our clothes have changed but our hearts the same 😊

We reattached the fire extinguisher and safety signs.

During the floods correctional services used our building. They’ve amazingly been mowing our lawns ever since. And today they restored our cross and dug it back in the ground. Thank you good folk.

The Salvation Army is starting a new church in Kempsey. It’s at the salvo building 69 Leith St and we meet at 10am on Sundays.
