Today our team enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach with our seniors during a water safety education session delivered in collaboration with Life Saving Victoria . It was a fantastic opportunity for participants to learn important water safety tips while enjoying the fresh air, connecting with others, and having fun by the seaside.

Our seniors absolutely loved the experience, from learning practical safety advice to simply relaxing, socialising, and enjoying the beach environment. Activities like these are a great way to support wellbeing, build confidence around water, and create meaningful community connections.

Happy International Women’s Day 2026

Today our staff attended the International Women’s Day – Women in Business Celebration hosted by (Wyndham City Council) at The Refectory, Werribee Park, joining community leaders and local organisations to recognise the achievements and contributions of women across our community.

During the event, our Director, Maung Hnin Thwe also delivered an inspiring speech as a guest speaker, reflecting on the strength and resilience of women, particularly women from refugee and migrant backgrounds, highlighting how courage, determination, and opportunity can empower women to succeed in business and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

International Women’s Day is a time to celebrate the strength, leadership, and resilience of women, while continuing to promote equality, opportunity, and inclusion. It highlights the important role women play in shaping stronger workplaces, communities, and futures for the next generation. We are proud to support and work alongside many inspiring women within our organisation and community, and we remain committed to empowering women and creating inclusive opportunities for all.

We were truly honoured to welcome Dr Cynthia Maung to our office today. As the founder and director of the Mae Tao Clinic on the Thailand–Myanmar border, she has dedicated more than three decades to providing essential healthcare to refugees, migrant workers, and displaced communities with compassion and courage.

From humble beginnings, she built a community-led health service that has supported hundreds of thousands of people and trained generations of local health workers. Her lifelong commitment to healthcare as a basic human right, along with her unwavering leadership, continues to inspire organisations and communities around the world.

Thank you, Dr Cynthia Maung, for visiting us and for your heartfelt encouragement to our team. Your words strengthened our sense of purpose and reminded us of the impact we can create when we lead with integrity, cultural understanding, and genuine care. We are deeply grateful for your time and inspiration.

A little time for carers. A great day for seniors.

Comfort Care and Community Services, in partnership with Carers Victoria, is pleased to introduce the Senior Group Respite Activity in Werribee this February.

Designed for eligible My Aged Care clients aged 65 and over, this fortnightly program offers carers a valuable four-hour break, while seniors enjoy engaging activities, gentle community outings, and meaningful social connections in a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Fortnightly Wednesdays | 10am–2pm
Werribee (transport and light meals included)
$12 per day
