Thank you to everyone who made our Christmas celebration yesterday at the Blue Mountains Bridge Club such a wonderful afternoon.
It was great to see you all, and we were especially happy to see many of the players from the recent beginner lessons come and join the festivities.
There are SO many people to thank, so here goes :
Special thanks to Chris our sensational treasurer and chief organiser…you go to so much trouble to make these occasions so successful and fun for the rest of us. We appreciate you so much !
Thanks to Ian and Sue for managing to get tables set so we could get some bridge played in between drinks and yummy food !
Of course, congratulations to all our award winners : Tammy & Alan, Marion, Pierre, Marg and Evelyn👏👏👏 So well deserved!!!
All the volunteer teachers were also recognised - Tony, Steve, Sue, Helen, Pierre, Julie, Kelela and Susan. Your gentle coaching nurtures the beginners so well, and help ensure that we remain a viable and vibrant club.
Our club directors were another group to be applauded and thanked….Ian x 2 and Sue….and …in her heartfelt speech, Evelyn led recognition of Ian and Jan Mac who do so much work behind the scenes to ensure our bridge sessions run flawlessly!!!
Thank you to all the kitchen fairies 🧚 who just jump in and set up and clean up.
And last but certainly not least …. We are grateful for all who contributed to the delicious spread 😋
