In 2011 Lions took up the challenge to get an Aged Care facility for Wedderburn. So it was heartening to see that the WDA will advocate for Aged Care in their Community Plan recently presented to Council. Lions feel they have exhausted all avenues to date and are grateful for any organisation willing to come on board to help with this extremely important project for our town.
The whole community needs to get behind this project if we are ever going to succeed.

Lions members welcome new incoming President for 26/27 Barry Woodward and new Treasurer Lynda Turner

Anzac Day services will commence with a dawn service at 6.15am at Soldiers Memorial Park then at 9.30am Korong Vale will hold their service.
At 10.45 am marchers will muster at Wedderburn Town Hall for the march to Soldiers Memorial Park for the 11am service followed by the unveiling of the Colin Cameron memorial plaque.
Lions bbq for lunch.
