For those wondering how many beautiful handmade toys we had on our giant christmas tree 🎄🧸

Drumroll please…!

The total number on the tree was 320! The total number donated was 327, and 7 were on the tree at shop 108.

A huge thankyou to our clever community who generously donated all of these gorgeous toys. They will be so dearly loved by any child who recieves them. These will now be distributed to various charities for those in need 💛

This Wednesday April 10th we are hosting our first The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. - CWA night of the year.

We have the amazing B's Patch joining us to teach us about food additives and how to spot them and also how to use essential oils in your daily life.

We would love to see you there! 7pm at the Wedderburn Senior Citizens Centre!

Very successful Xmas tree festival and our entry won the best tree overall prize. Long hours worked to achieve this result and we are very proud of the results. Congratulations to the Patchwork Group for keeping this tradition going and reviving the interest for our community to participate again. Our theme was the 12 days of Christmas with the use of many different mediums and craft styles to produce this classic our way. Many children entered too which was wonderful to see and the local craftsmanship never ceases to amaze.

Just a reminder that we are not doing the shopping night this year. Inglewood has theirs this Friday and Wedderburn has their Xmas on High on the 7th of December. Thank you for your support the past and depending on circumstances, we may do another down the track. In the meantime, please support your local businesses this Christmas to keep our towns thriving.

Farewell Eileen

Monday night we farewelled our member Eileen. Eileen has been an active and willing participant in our club for the last 7 years. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Eileen has decided to move back to the Ballarat area to be closer to family and will be sorely missed by us and the Wedderburn community in general. Eileen will continue to be a CWA member by joining one of the Ballarat groups. We wish you all the very best and we know you will keep in touch . 😘❤️
