Global Village Project

Global Village Project We are a community of Deakin students and medical professionals who strive to empower communities through medicine. Sincerely,

The Global Village Team 2023

The Global Village Project is a not-for-profit registered charity, initiated and run by Deakin medical students to provide medical care to impoverished communities both within Australia and worldwide. Through our work, which began in a small community called Koraput, in the state of Odisha (Orissa), India, we are growing to become a leading body amongst medical communities in Australia and interna

tionally. We work to provide immunisations, essential medical care and vital education to impoverished and disadvantaged children and village residents in Odisha (Orissa) state, India. Our vision is to empower the world's most needy, whilst creating opportunities like no other for students and professionals. Feel free to tune in here to follow the journey with us or if you would like to join in the adventure – we would love to have you on board! For more information please send us an email at [email protected]. On behalf of us, and all of the children and families you support – thank you in advance for your kind generosity, we can change the world, one child at a time.
