Guest Speaker at the October Border Division meeting was Andrea Slack-Smith. Andrea is from Goondiwindi Branch. Her own health journey led her to an awareness around self care and the benefit of walking. Not just walking, but talking also. Women connect by sharing stories. And we all have one.
Her fb page is Whispers of Wellness, where the downloads of these conversations can be found and enjoyed during your daily walk. Andrea's comment is, "It's all free. Please join me for a walk"

CVW member Yvonne Wilkinson passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday 12th August and will be sorely missed.
Yvonne first joined CWA NSW and has been an active participant in her volunteering with QCWA. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm and passion for all things International, especially competitions, skit writing to educate us about the Country of Study and who could forget Michele and her teaching us to belly dance, Moroccan style.
Condolences to her family and to her friends at CVW. Her funeral is Thursday 27th August, 11.30am at the Uniting Church, Warwick. Yvonne on right, with Michele Slater a few years ago.
