šŸ’™ HAPPY FATHER’S DAY šŸ’™

Today we’re celebrating all the dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures who do so much for the people around them.

A special shoutout to the truck driver dad’s spending Father’s Day out on the road. Doing the miles, getting the job done and no doubt wishing they were home with their families. šŸš›

And for those who find today difficult, our thoughts are with everyone missing their dad, their child, or someone they wish they could spend today with.

Take the time to check in on your mates, make that phone call and remind the people in your life what they mean to you.

A QUICK WORD FROM THE AUSSIE TRUCK DRIVERS CALENDAR COMMITTEE.

We shouldn’t have to say this to adults, but after some of the comments we’ve seen lately, we’re going to make our boundaries very clear.

Our calendar and the quiet shout initiative exists to support mental health, promote kindness and bring people within the transport community together. In our industry, we look after our own. That means supporting people, not tearing them down for entertainment.

If you choose to use our page to ridicule someone, attack their appearance, use homophobic or degrading language, bully, belittle or deliberately spread negativity, you will be removed and blocked. No debate.

And quite frankly, when you leave comments like that publicly, you don’t make the person you’re attacking look bad , you make yourself look like an absolute fool.

People notice. Employers check social media. Businesses notice names and people remember. Our industry talks. One petty comment made in a few seconds can leave an impression that lasts a hell of a lot longer.

More importantly, those comments can have a very real impact on the mental health of the people on the receiving end, including people who are actually standing up, putting themselves out there and trying to make a difference for others.

Our committee is made up entirely of volunteers. Between us, we donate enough hours every week to our not for profit organisation for it to be another full-time job on top of our already heavy commitments and families. We do it because we believe in this industry, in mental health support and in the people who stand beside each other when life gets hard.

What we do not have time for is nonsense.

We certainly don’t give up hours of our week so individuals sitting around in their spare time can use our page to be cruel, negative or disrespectful toward the very people who step up, support our cause, raise money and help us make a difference.

We’ll always applaud the people who show up, the ones who support each other. The ones who aren’t superficial. The ones with genuinely golden hearts.

You don’t have to agree with everything we post. You don’t have to like every photo. You don’t even have to follow us.

But if you are here, RESPECT IS THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT.

Mental health support and bullying do not belong on the same page.

In this industry, we look after our own.
BE KIND, BE DECENT, OR BE GONE!

We’re not sure what part of the pre-start checklist this falls under… but we’re fairly confident that’s the wrong grab handle. šŸ˜‚

Meanwhile, the rest of the models are carrying on like this is just another completely normal day at a calendar photoshoot. Well yeah, it is! 🤣

A very heartfelt thank you to Steering the Future for the way they continue to support the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar and The Quiet Shout.

We honestly can’t say enough about these guys. They have been so generous with their time, their support and their willingness to help us however they can. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and that means more to us than they probably realise.

Once our new calendars are released, Steering the Future will also be selling them straight from their trailer, helping us get them out on the road and into the transport community.

We’re incredibly grateful to have people like this in our corner.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for always being there to help.

A huge thank you to Vickery Bros for their generous donation to the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar.

Their support helps us continue The Quiet Shout and get practical mental health resources into the hands of truck drivers and families who may need them.

If you’re looking for fertiliser products, advice and service from people who understand agriculture, make sure you give Vickery Bros – The Fertiliser Professionals a look.

A huge thank you to MY TRUCKING for getting behind the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar and The Quiet Shout.

MyTrucking is built for the transport industry, helping make the day-to-day side of trucking simpler, more organised and easier to manage.

What means even more to us is having a business that works so closely with transport operators also recognise the importance of peer-to-peer mental health support within our industry.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support and proud to have MyTrucking backing what we do.

If you’re in transport and looking for an app designed with the industry in mind, MyTrucking is well worth a look.

šŸ”„ SEPTEMBER COVER REVEAL šŸ”„

This one’s a special one.

Our September cover features the first two females ever to appear in the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar and we reckon they’ve absolutely nailed it.

Two standout women, two cracking Kenworths, and a cover that makes a statement.

You could say the boys might have a bit of competition now… šŸ˜‰

But behind the great photo is a message that matters….Strong enough to haul the load, brave enough to ask for help.

Because this calendar has always been about more than trucks. It’s about the people behind the wheel, the families beside them, and reminding everyone in our industry that nobody is alone.

So this cover isn’t just making Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar history, it’s helping break stereotypes, start conversations, and show that strength comes in many forms.

Help us give these two legends the love they deserve in the comments.

A bloody big thank you to Mortlake Roadhouse — ā€œThe Roadieā€ for getting behind the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar, our calendar sales, and The Quiet Shout.

The Roadie is one of those places that just gets it….good old-fashioned hospitality, outstanding service, delicious meals, plenty of banter and always time for a chat.

They’re incredibly generous people who support so many others in their community, and we’re very grateful they continue to support us too. From helping move calendars through the door to backing peer-to-peer mental health support, their contribution genuinely helps us keep doing what we do.

So if you’re rolling through Mortlake, pull in, grab a feed, have a chat and support a business that gives so much back. Oh….and bring your appetite. The meals are like a Christmas dinner.

Absolute legends.

A big thank you to Holland Road Logistics for getting behind the Aussie Truck Drivers Calendar and The Quiet Shout.

There’s something pretty special about support coming from within the transport industry itself. Holland Road Logistics understand the pressures that come with life on the road and why looking out for each other really matters.

Their support helps us keep peer-to-peer mental health awareness moving through the industry and reaching the people who may need it most.
