Sweep the dust from the floor, alert the dustpan and broom - the Beauty and the Beast information day is on Saturday August 1st at TOAD Hall, from 9am to 12pm!

Anyone interested in auditioning is encouraged to attend - parents too! We'll cover roles, expectations, rehearsal schedules, and more. Auditionees will also learn some dialogue, a song, and a dance routine they will perform for their auditions. It's also the perfect time to ask questions of our directorial team!

As a reminder: the age range for Holiday Actors is from year 7 at the audition day, and no older than 21 for the first performance (January 2nd).

✨The Holiday Actors Committee is proud to announce a brand new adventure from July to August 2026: Young Directors Studio Workshops!!

💿3 of our passionate alumni are hosting workshops over 6 weeks in direction, vocal direction, and choreography, to train up young people to potentially one day take on an assistant role in a directorial team for Holiday Actors. Applications for the workshop are open to anyone aged 16-30. We'll also need performers to participate in the workshops so our young people have cast to work with - anyone eligible for Holiday Actors in July/August can apply to perform.

💃This is your chance to gain valuable experience in an area you're interested in! Applications will open soon, and places are limited. Watch this space for when applications open!

Our friends at Red Door are venturing into Shakespeare Land in August! Tickets go on sale tomorrow for what we’re sure will be an extravaganza. You’ll even see some familiar faces from our recent shows, including & Juliet! We can’t wait to see them shine in brand new roles - tickets for Red Door go fast, so be there or be 🟪!

🥀In case you missed it: Holiday Actors presents Beauty & The Beast, January 2027!

It's been 17 years since we did Beauty & The Beast for the first time - with some very familiar faces from then on the 2026/27 directorial team. More information will be available regarding auditions as we get closer - don't worry!

With initial planning already underway, we guarantee this will be one of our biggest shows yet, and definitely one for the whole family! In fact we're so excited, we're doing EIGHT shows for the first time... since 2009! Eight chances to see the last petal fall, will we see you there?

You have been loving our throwbacks to May 2025 and 'Come From Away', and we've got the cast feeling all nostalgic! To celebrate one year of Gander, take a look at some EXCLUSIVE never before seen rehearsal photos from our last day at TOAD Hall before we hit the theatre. Fun fact: the cast and team of Come From Away now have +3 babies and +2 marriages since closing night.

After it's over you'll remember that you're a Newfoundlander!

Happy birthday to Disney's High School Musical! 20 years since the movie came out - and 12 years since we put it on at the Lighthouse Theatre in Warrnambool! We know we skipped a couple shows in our flashbacks to get to this one, but we couldn't resist a 20 year anniversary.

Were you one of our Wildcats? Seems like only yesterday since the big game 🏀 and so many of our Wildcats went on to do some amazing things! What team!?
