24hr Shear Madness

This will be our third year, following on from two very successful events and we are excited to set our sights even higher this year, with an aim to raise over $100 000 for LET’S TALK. With mental ill-health crippling families and communities, we want to help break the stigma around mental health by supporting LET’S TALK to create mentally healthy and empowered communities. Valuable work is being

done by LET’S TALK to educate, raise awareness and break stigma, and we’d like to help extend their reach beyond South West Victoria. This year, we are planning an even bigger event with a total of six shearers accepting the challenge. Josh and Brandon Bone from Nhill and Phil Edwards a local southwest shearer will be joining Roger, Corey, and Brody Mifsud on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of December at the Warrnambool Showgrounds. These shearers and their teams will put their bodies on the line, shearing for 24 hours, in a spectacle not to be missed, all whilst raising funds for an important charity. Our aim is to beat previous efforts and raise $100,000 for the LET’S TALK Foundation. LET’S TALK are a preventative not-for-profit who aim to break the stigma around mental health, by educating and empowering communities and teaching people how to maintain their mental wellbeing.
