🏉 NSW Rugby League Far West Community Visits & Dinners 🏉

We’re excited to welcome NSW True Blue Andrew Ryan to the Far West next week for a series of Community Clinics and Dinners across Bourke, Brewarrina, Lightning Ridge and Walgett.

These events are a great opportunity for players, families and community members to come together, learn from one of the game’s greats and celebrate rugby league in our region.
All ages and experience levels are welcome, with sessions focused on participation, mentoring, community connection and having fun.

Proud to share that three of our past FWAS RL athletes will be attending the First Nations Gems Training Camp this weekend:

This is an incredible opportunity, and if selected, the girls will take the field in a curtain raiser ahead of Game III of the Women’s State of Origin.

Another rugby league season has come to an end.

This year, the Far West Academy of Sport has continued to grow in every area, from player and coach development, to increased participation across our programs.

We thank our players for their commitment, effort, and pride in representing FWAS, and our staff for their dedication to supporting and developing every athlete along the way.

Being part of FWAS is a journey, and we’re proud of how far our squads have come together this season.

We look forward to seeing you all later this year for trials!
