What an incredible two days at Beyond!

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us. As we head back into our daily lives, let’s remember the challenges we heard:
Keep holding up your staff, because the Lord is truly at work.
Not to settle for “it is what it is”
He doesn’t depend on us, yet He chooses us. May we continue to offer our "lunch" and be the salt and light, reflecting Jesus to everyone around us. Thank you for being part of this journey! What you do Matters!

Friday Elective Speaker Announcement

Prayer Matters! Linda is Passionate about seeing lives transformed through the power of prayer. She serves children, young people and families with a heart of compassion, faith and hope. Drawing on years of experience supporting school and church communities, Linda believes prayer is an instrumentally important spiritual discipline—it is an invitation to partner with God, bringing His presence into every moment of everyday.

Working with leaders to deeper their commitment to prayer for and with the next generation of prayer warriors.

Participants will be challenged to deepen their understanding of God’s invitation to pray, to discern His voice through His Word, and to challenge the next generation to be bold in their prayer.

Elective Speaker Announcement - Questions Matter

Dr Michael O’Neil is Dean (Strategic Relationships) at Morling College, Perth (Vose) Campus. He has taught Christian Thought and History at the College since 2010. Before that, he was senior minister at Lesmurdie Baptist Church (2005-2009). Michael is married to Monica and they have three grown children and seven grandchildren.
Michael will share with us the power of questions and how they matter as we interact and engage young people in discipleship.

Elective Speaker Announcement - “People Matter”
Church would be great if it wasn’t for all the people, right? If you’ve been leading teams or volunteering in ministry for more than 5 minutes, you’ll know that pastoral care is one of the most important but demanding parts. It can also be deeply rewarding. In this workshop, we’ll learn (or maybe simply be reminded) how Jesus loved people well-roundedly, and what might be some helpful ways of caring for the people He calls us to serve.
Rob has been an Anglican pastor for 20 years in different cities across Australia. Currently, he serves beachside as Associate Pastor for St. Philip’s Cottesloe.
