Today Shellharbour Auxiliary celebrated our 40th Birthday with a luncheon. Members and friends of the Auxiliary attended. We viewed a presentation on the new Shellharbour Hospital which is on track to open towards the end of 2027. Our guest speaker was Mayor Chris Homer We also received a lovely surprise of a framed certificate signed by the Prime Minister and Carol Berry MP acknowledging the Auxiliary's contribution to our public hospital over the past forty years.

Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary's Mother's Day Raffle was drawn today at Bunnings Shellharbour. First prize was one by Chris ticket no. S17516, 2nd Prize won by Natasha no. S17748, 3rd Prize won by Jamie ticket no. S17795. The raffle was drawn by Bunnings staff member Jacqui. Thank you to all who purchased tickets in the raffle supporting us in raising funds to purchase three CPAP machines for Shellharbour Hospital.

We have a craft stall at Warilla Grove Shopping Centre on Thursday 23 April and Friday 24 April. Come along and find a lovely gift for Mother's Day. We are also selling tickets in our Mother's Day Raffle.
We have beautiful crocheted rugs, microwave bowl holders, hand towels, clothing protectors, coat hangers, as well as lots of baby things.

This Thursday 26th and Friday 27th we have a craft stall at Warilla Grove Shopping Centre from 9am. A great variety of hand made items including baby and toddler items, Adult clothing protectors, bowl cozies, crochet hand towels, quilts and crochet blankets. Find us outside Blooms Chemist.

Perhaps some of the equipment we have purchased for the hospital has been of benefit to you. Maybe even saved your life or the life of someone you know.
Are you interested in helping to raise funds for the purchase of much needed equipment for our hospital? Do you sew, knit, crochet, love to bake? Maybe you have great fundraising ideas. Come to our February meeting, where we will be updated on our role at the new hospital.

Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a cake stall in the main entrance of Shellharbour Public Hospital tomorrow 5th Feb from 8am to 12noon If you would like to meet us and find out about joining the Auxiliary come and say hello and of course buy a cake or two and help us raise money to purchase Medical equipment for our hospital

Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary was nominated and won the award for 'Community Group of the Year' fir 2026 at Shellharbour Council's Community and Australia Day Awards night. We were thrilled for the recognition for the volunteer work we do in raising funds for much needed equipment for our hospital.
