Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary

"Let us hold high the lamp of service for the welfare of our hospitals and health facilities"

We provide a Trolley service throughout the Shellharbour District Hospital during certain days of the week, selling a range of items for both patients and staff. By means of fundraising activities, we purchase much needed medical equipment for our Hospital for patient treatment, care and comfort.

Our major fundraiser for 2026 is a Trivia Night being held at Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club on Friday 16th October from 5:30pm. You can expect lots of prizes, fun and finger food. We have tables of 10 so get your friends together for a fun night. Or just give Cheryl, Marion or Lynda a call and we’ll organise a table for you.

Today Shellharbour Auxiliary celebrated our 40th Birthday with a luncheon. Members and friends of the Auxiliary attended. We viewed a presentation on the new Shellharbour Hospital which is on track to open towards the end of 2027. Our guest speaker was Mayor Chris Homer We also received a lovely surprise of a framed certificate signed by the Prime Minister and Carol Berry MP acknowledging the Auxiliary's contribution to our public hospital over the past forty years.

Shellharbour Hospital Auxiliary's Mother's Day Raffle was drawn today at Bunnings Shellharbour. First prize was one by Chris ticket no. S17516, 2nd Prize won by Natasha no. S17748, 3rd Prize won by Jamie ticket no. S17795. The raffle was drawn by Bunnings staff member Jacqui. Thank you to all who purchased tickets in the raffle supporting us in raising funds to purchase three CPAP machines for Shellharbour Hospital.

Thinking about volunteering? Come to our meeting and check out what we do. We meet on the 4th Tuesday each month to plan our fund raising activities while we enjoy each other's company.

We have a craft stall at Warilla Grove Shopping Centre on Thursday 23 April and Friday 24 April. Come along and find a lovely gift for Mother's Day. We are also selling tickets in our Mother's Day Raffle.
We have beautiful crocheted rugs, microwave bowl holders, hand towels, clothing protectors, coat hangers, as well as lots of baby things.
