Latvian Retirement Village Melbourne - Latviešu Ciems Melburnā We are the only Latvian Retirement community in Australia and our aim is to provide a sense of community by upholding the traditions of our cultural heritage.

The Latvian Friendly Society is a not-for-profit organisation encompassing the Latvian Retirement Village for independent living and the Latvian Aged Care Facility for those requiring more assistance with their day to day living. The Latvian village community believes all persons should have the opportunity to live with dignity in a community where participation and meaningful relationships are va

lued, and be able to pursue their own concept of a full and happy life. Each individual is seen as a whole person with emotional, mental, spiritual and physical needs, living in the context of his or her family and community.
