Another great morning of gardening at French Road community garden. We were so enthusiastic another shovel was broken. This Saturday we will be having a well deserved rest. So no gardening until next Thursday when our shovel should be fixed.

We had a very productive morning at the French Road Community Garden. The front beds are mainly herbs but we planted a new succulent bed in the rear garden today. The native plant and bush tucker area is starting to take off. Come and see the progress on Saturday or Thursday mornings between 9 and 11 am. Join us for a cuppa around 10:30 am !

Great fun this morning with crop swap, gardening chats and learnings about companion planting at the French Road Community Garden, Wangi Wangi crop swap and companion planting workshop with Kate and Mark from Purple Pear Farm ... who'd have thought that Tansy, Geranium Lavender Daisy and Pansy could be so helpful and supportive in growing a productive edible garden 😀 ❤️
