The Country Women’s Association of Victoria Inc. (Association) was formed on 12 March 1928 out of concern for women living in isolation and in difficult times. This active Association is an incorporated vo

lunteer organisation that is non-party political and non-sectarian that today boasts over 5,200 members throughout Victoria for country and city women. Whilst the focus has often been on tea and scones, there is so much more on the menu of this dynamic Association which aims to improve conditions for women and children.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: An update on our Wangaratta CWA hall in Templeton st. We have recently sold this building and as a result are no longer able to assist with the hiring of this hall.

The Ovens & Murray Football Netball League has partnered with Project 365
to launch their first ever Mental Health Round!

📅 June 27–28 2026

Led by the Project 365 team, Steve Manning, Rachael Devine, Emma Merlo, Ben Thomas and Pete Rourke, this partnership is about bringing the whole community together around something that matters.

A full weekend focused on:
🔹Showing up.
🔹Checking in.
🔹And supporting each other, on and off the field.

Because the reality is… more people are struggling than we realise. And most of the time, you wouldn’t even know it.

Across the weekend, including the Wangaratta derby and Walk & Talk, we’ll be selling Project 365 beanies, with funds going towards mental health first aid scholarships across clubs.

Wangaratta Branch has sold their Hall and having a moving out sale.
We purchased this oven for $2,949 and fridge for $1,599 in 2023.
They are both in excellent condition and we are asking any interested CWA members to put in a bid to purchase.
Both items will have recent electrical test and tags and the oven will be disconnected ready to move.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to grab a bargain, all bids will be considered.
Buyer to collect no later than April 10.
