A fantastic day out was had by the Lions Club of Wangaratta for our Presidents Social today. There was plenty of laughs and friendly competition enjoying a round of FootGolf at Boorhaman Golf Club - Foot Golf. ⚽⛳ The fun continued with a delicious lunch at the Buffalo Brewery/ Boorhaman Hotel, where we shared great food and laughs to round off a great social day enjoyed by all. 🦁💛

Thank you Northeast Health Wangaratta for honouring Kyle in this way. He was a valued member of Lions Club of Wangaratta and this tribute will touch those that knew him.

Last week we had the privilege of unveiling a beautiful new painting within the Dialysis Unit at Northeast Health Wangaratta.

More than just artwork, this painting is a symbol of compassion, remembrance and generosity, and will provide comfort to patients, families and staff for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rod and Jenny Cogan for their incredibly meaningful donation, made in honour of their son Kyle.

This year marks 30 years since Kyle received his first kidney transplant, a milestone that reflects his strength, courage and the hope he inspired in so many people.

While Kyle is no longer with us, his memory continues to live on through those who knew and loved him, and now through this special piece of art that will continue to touch the lives of many within our Dialysis Unit.

A special thank you also to local artist Carol Allan for creating this beautiful painting and helping bring this meaningful tribute to life.

Thank you Rod and Jenny for sharing Kyle’s story and for honouring his memory in such a thoughtful and lasting way.

North Vic Caravans Wangaratta with 102.1 Edge FM and Lyster Inc.McDonalds.

Was an inspiring day today as the Lions Club of Wangaratta hosted the Lions District 201V6 Youth of the Year Final at St. Bernard’s School, Wangaratta.
Students representing clubs across our district competed in a big day consisting of both interview and public speaking components.
Congratulations to Zoe from Numurkah Lions Club for winning the public speaking section and Matilda from Cobram Lions for being the overall winner today.
Thank you to those Wangaratta Lions members in attendance and assisting on the day in support of the Youth of the Year Australia program.
